Ann Arbor, October 14, 2024 – Blueflite®, a leader in drone-based logistics solutions, is proud to announce that it has been awarded ,000 in funding through the Michigan Mobility Prototyping Grant Program. The 3,000 initiative, launched by Michigan’s Office of Future Mobility and Electrification in collaboration with Centrepolis Accelerator at Lawrence Technological University, provides support for companies developing groundbreaking mobility and electrification technologies.
Blueflite®’s grant will fund a cutting-edge project in partnership with Intecells, a Michigan-based company specializing in advanced battery technology. Together, the companies will focus on extending drone flight time and range by integrating innovative battery solutions. By improving battery performance, Blueflite® aims to extend the range and capabilities of its logistics drones, enabling longer missions, broader geographic coverage, and increased cost-effectiveness. This is particularly vital for industries such as medical and e-commerce deliveries, where reliable and efficient drone solutions can revolutionize delivery systems.
